Adjustments

Adjustments let the operations team correct reported figures without modifying the underlying computed data.

Price feeds go stale and need correcting. A reward that accrued to one wallet may belong economically to a different strategy. A position may need to be excluded from reported NAV while it is under review. Syncrone handles these cases as structured, non-destructive corrections. Every control described here lives in Adjustments.

Adjustment types#

Syncrone supports five adjustment types, each with its own scope and audit trail:

  • NAV correctionsOverride a specific day's NAV with a team-approved figure, either as an absolute value or as a delta. Applied at position, asset, or holding level. The original computed value is always preserved.
  • NAV policyChange the NAV formula across the whole fund, for example switching from receipt token pricing to look-through (sum of underlyings) for wrapped positions. Applies consistently to all entities.
  • Yield attributionRoute yield and income from one position's asset to another position entirely. When a farming reward accrues to a wallet but was earned by a specific position, it can be assigned to that position without altering the underlying position data.
  • Metrics correctionsOverride a period metric (P&L, cost basis, flows, NAV) on a report's rows before it is finalized. Each correction is recorded with a reason, and the computed figure remains visible alongside it. Overrides on a finalized or archived report are rejected by the database; unlock the report first.
  • Coverage controlChoose which positions appear in the fund's reported portfolio: include, exclude, mark as primary, or external-only. Useful for positions under legal review, held in escrow, or belonging to a separate reporting entity.

Raw vs adjusted projections#

Every entity in Syncrone has two projection states:

Raw (base)

The on-chain computation with no overrides applied. Ground truth. Never mutated.

Adjusted

Raw plus operator corrections layered on top. What LPs and reports receive. Where an adjustment exists, it takes precedence; otherwise raw is used.

Portfolio and Performance screens read the adjusted projection by default, which is the fund's reported view. The raw figure stays one click away wherever an adjustment applies, so the delta is never hidden.
